Please help us welcome Bryan to the City of Elk Horn Public Works Department!

Bryan joins us with prior city experience from Omaha and has already hit the ground running. Talk about timing—starting a new job during Tivoli Fest week is certainly jumping right into the deep end! 😅

When he’s not working, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, raising his farm animals and fishing!

We’re excited to have Bryan on the team and look forward to all he’ll bring to our community.

Did You Know We Have a Can Donation Box!

Located right at the entrance to the bus barn in Elk Horn is our can and bottle donation bin, which helps support our local class’s trip to Washington, D.C. every 3 years. The students sort and process all of the donated cans and bottles, and the proceeds go directly toward funding their trip.

A friendly reminder: this bin is for redeemable cans and bottles only. Please do not place household trash or other recyclables in with your donations.

If you’re able, an extra step that really helps the students is separating cans from bottles before dropping them off.

Thank you to everyone who donates and helps support our students. Every bag makes a difference! 🇺🇸🥤♻️

The Elk Horn Public Library Summer kick-off is this tomorrow, May 29th from 2 - 6 with their bingo cards, crafts and refreshments! Please see the attached documents for more information about what they have going on for the Summer!

The City of Elk Horn is now accepting sealed bids for the landscaping blocks shown in the attached photos.

Minimum bid: $300
One set of blocks includes one 36" steel fire ring kit purchased from Menards.
Blocks are being sold as pictured and will not be separated

Sealed bids must be submitted to City Hall by Wednesday, June 24 at 4:00 PM.

If you ordered a 51531 shirt, they are IN! Come grab them at the Fire Station (East Side Back Door) from 10-3pm or 7-8pm tomorrow May 21st. Friday at the Clerks office 8-3pm or If you are around for Tivoli, orders can be picked up from Molly Robertson or Chelsee Jacobsen over the weekend 😃
