Celebrating Our Mothers -Setting the table for celebration.
Bring your table setting to celebrate your mother, grandmother or family members, include linens, dishes, decoration and a photo if you want.

Spaces will be 24 inches by 29 inches on tables set in the Museum Meeting Room.

Contest at Reynolds County Museum for Spring Fever, May 9, 2026.
Entries registered by May 4, 2026.

Set up May 6th, 7th and 8th, Museum open 10:00 am to 4:00pm.
Exhibit and voting May 9th Spring Fever Day.

Prize awarded to setting with the most votes May 9th, 3:00pm.

Prize - Winner’s choice - Museum shirt or Museum Cap or Museum Book.
Exhibitors pick-up entries - May 9, 2026 3:30 - 4:00pm.

The Museum is open for the 2026 season on Thursday and Friday in March and April. Beginning May 6 we will be open Wed. - Fri. and on Saturday May 9, for Spring Fever Day, with another place setting contest.

On Monday January 12 the Museum will be open from 10:00 - 12:00 if anyone wants to come over and take down their tree. There will be more dates later.

The Seth Cemetery on B hwy is currently being cleaned up There are at least 8 graves marked with stones including Seth Chitwood. Clifford Chitwood is seeking any and all information on who is buried there. Please contact him at 573-300-7575 if you know anything.

The theme for the tree decorating will be "Sounds of Christmas"
This years Christmas Tree decorating competition will include two divisions - the youth or student groups will have monetary prizes; the adult groups will have a traveling trophy and gift certificate from Opy's. The museum will be open for viewing the trees, Friday evening, December 5th for the parade and Saturday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Holly Jolly Stroll.

The Museum will be closed for the season after Oct 31, 2025. If you want to get on the Christmas tree list either call and leave a message or email us at [email protected]. We are looking forward to having a lot of participation.
