Our next McCormick House Tour will take place on Sunday, June 28 from 1-2pm.

Tours are led by EAM trained docents. Advanced tickets are recommended due to limited capacity.

The McCormick House is a single-family home designed in 1952 by Mies van der Rohe, one of the great architects of the 20th Century. It is one of only three free-standing residences designed and built by Mies in the United States—and one of only two open to the public.

SAVE THE DATE

From July 15-30 stop by EAM to meet ceramic artist and Gulf War veteran, Ehren Tool while he makes work in the museum for the fall exhibition Resisting the Long War: A Revolution of Values. Visitors can meet Ehren while he works at the museum during the museum’s normal open hours.

Ehren received his MFA from UC Berkeley in 2005, and has made and given away more than 27,000 ceramic cups. His work is heavily influenced by his time in the Marine Corps and the ways that military and civilian cultures collude and collide.

We’re so excited to welcome Ehren next month!
