Well, we had another full fledged Park Place Production several months back before Christmas. It was for and in honor of the New Castle order of the OddFellows lodge! Debra Fisher asked me if I could help with her Hawaiian theme for the big float she had in mind for the parade. “Of course I can” I said... she knew I would —as that was quite my forte! My basement looked like lil Honolulu for sure! J t Stinson
Graciously let us use his to***co wagon and quickly I turned it in to an
Ocean with a beach, featuring bathing beauty’s and hula dancers, ukulele players, boat and paddlers, and at the back of the float sitting in giant royal
Hawaiian rattan and bamboo chairs were high ranking kahunas and a big
Happy culturally dressed chieftain!
There were colorful silk flowers everywhere, several palm trees, a big beach umbrella with lil keikis sitting ‘neath it smiling and singing blue Hawaii!!🌈🌺🎶❤️😁🌴🌴🌴🦞🍹
Across the back of the float I had a huge 7 panel Hawaiian folding screen 7 ft tall arched panels in dried palm leaves. Cut & woven leaves. The young boys in their aloha shirts threw paper leis out to the crowds. They really had fun too! Aloha and I’ll add the story soon!

Happy 2019 my friends - just got back to Honolulu after a few weeks with Stephanie in New Zealand !!! We celebrated the Holidays w Loki and her family in Auckland and then drove down to Napier-a beach resort that we fell in love with- visited a couple of Vintage shops and got a few new goodies for my Collection. We are back in Honolulu and the children are back from their holidays in Seattle! It’s summer in New Z and it’s always Warm in Hawaii. I do hear that we have snow in Kentucky tho- drat!!! I love to make Snowmen! Aloha and Aroha,

I remember when I did a talk at Sugarloafs in London, England on the
Roaring Twenties!! It was a great nite with Zoe's guests and everyone having such a lovely fashion nite!!! I even taught a little 3 -step Charleston -wowza!!!! What an awesome event!!!

Today, I helped a lady and her 2 granddaughters dress up for the annual Jane Austen days to be held at Locust Grove in Louisville,. They were pleased, I was happy to help., but I was really just going to work on cleaning up more of the flood mess.. Awful!!

Saturday my P.A. Mikey and I hauled 20 or so cowboy costumes, hats, toy cowboy guns, a big wooden western rocking horse and a dozen "cowboy sayins" paintings to the Oldham County "Wild West Cowboy Days" event. The children loved the rocking' horse at "2 bits for 2 minutes".
Boy, two minutes is really long in 98 degree weather, isn't it? But the Cowboy Club had built a western town and they staged gunfights and robberies all afternoon. Calamity Jane even made an appearance and I offered her a tin of band-aids! A good time was had by all!
