The Gem series, featured in our current exhibition 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, created by Lucy Holtsnider, includes 21 collages that incorporate monotype prints and handmade ceramic tiles. Color gradients created with lithography ink evoke the way light reflects off a faceted surface, while marbled patterns in the tiles suggest geological strata.

Featured here is Gem Series 7 I 2026 I Handmade ceramic tile and relief ink I 6.5 x 5.5 x .75 in. I available

Yellow and Ochre Forms I, created by Nora Schuchat and part of the current exhibition 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, features hand embroidery on fabric stretched over hand-cut wood forms. This artwork is part of an ongoing exploration of emotional dichotomies and dualities, and interpersonal relationships for Schuchat.

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, an exhibition of new works from Denver-based artists Lucy Holtsnider and Nora Schuchat, includes new artworks from both artists as well as two special collaborative pieces. Light Blue Form with Marbled Pink Ceramic Tiles combines Schuchat’s delicate embroidery encompassing part of Holtsnider’s ceramic tiles.

There are just a few days left to view Carbondale, Colorado-based artist Savanna LaBauve’s online exhibition 𝐒𝐲𝐳𝐲𝐠𝐲. These new works, a collection of small sculptures presented together as a single work, are a teaser of LaBauve’s upcoming gallery exhibition this summer.

Remnant No. 2, from Savanna LaBauve’s online-exclusive exhibition on Artsy, 𝐒𝐲𝐳𝐲𝐠𝐲, is a handbuilt, ceramic sculpture, carved from a solid block of clay, divided and rejoined. Each piece conceals its own interior history within a unified form.
