Working with your dreams is a rewarding, exciting process; it can enhance your creativity, dissolve your blocks, and open the door of vast new possibilities. Dreams are symbolic representations of unresolved issues and feelings that are calling on you to pay attention to them. In this workshop you will learn how to work with dreams by acting them out like a play. You will have an opportunity to be an actor/director for a brief time in your own creation.

SMILE

I was riding the subway the other day with the same hang-dog bored look on my face as every other poor soul stuffed into that jiggling sardine can.

I looked around at all the interesting faces. I saw a young man give his seat up to an elderly black woman, and it made me crack my mask and smile. I smiled at him and her, and everyone around me. It felt so good!

Then a young Asian woman came in with the cutest baby strapped to her chest. I smiled again. And I thought, “ this is my gift to all of you; my smile! It makes me happy! Brightens up my day! I hope it brightens up yours! Wow! Would it be great if everyone on this train smiled at everyone else? What a New World that would be!!!”

Heaven on earth in one split second!

Mayday is also the Celtic holiday of Beltane, a celebration of new life, fecundity, fire, and spring. It honors the sacred masculine and sacred feminine in the form of Apollo the sun god (or the Green man) and Flora, or Primavera. In the old days it was a time for fun, promiscuity, and changing partners for a day. You might just want to meditate on balancing the masculine and feminine, which are so skewed at this time, and which could go a long way to finding a blissful balance! Enjoy the birdsongs, the peepers, and the crickets!!!
