Raku pottery is created by hand and fired in an outdoor pit designed to reach temperatures up to 2000°F. Pulled from the firing while still red hot, the pottery is then left smolder in a pit with wood shavings… the process creates vibrant glaze colors on a matte clay body with a crackle finish detail.

🌿 Exciting news! Today is the opening of "Fluent In Nature", a stunning joint exhibition bringing together the ceramic sculptures of Denise Romecki and the pastel paintings of Marcia Walmer. These two artists share a profound love of the natural world- from the hypnotic pull of flowing water to the quiet wonder of stones, shells, and feathered visitors along the trail.
