The Connecticut River was once so polluted it was declared biologically dead. Today, bald eagles soar above its waters. 🦅

That comeback didn’t happen by chance. It happened because people fought for a River worth saving.

Now, new threats put its future at risk—from climate change and invasive species to PFAS pollution. The work isn’t over.

By supporting the Connecticut River Museum, you help protect the River’s history, preserve its future, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. The Connecticut River has endured for centuries. Help protect it for the next 250 years.
