Before GPS, pilots relied on tools like these. From pocket-sized E-6B manuals to classroom-sized Jeppesen computers, the math of flight was very much done by hand.

The models, more than 600 of them, represent aviation from the Wright's aircraft all the way through the space program.

Lady Nelda says hi and that you should come by for a visit. We're open Thursday - Saturday from 12 - 4 pm.

Lady Nelda is a North American Aviation P-51 Mustang, an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War, among other conflicts. The Mustang was designed in 1940 by a team headed by James H. Kindelberger of North American Aviation (NAA).

Artemis II launched today at 6:35 pm Eastern from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on the first crewed journey to go around the moon since 1972. On board is Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen.

The Capsule Commander (CAPCOM) is Eugene-native Dr. Stanley G. Love.

Our volunteers are working on a new exhibit with archives and artifacts from Colonel Charles Gordon Fullerton. Fullerton grew up in Oregon, graduating from Grant High School in Portland. He was a US Air Force colonel, NASA astronaut and research pilot.

We have so many great stories for you to explore. Look for this new exhibit soon!
