"For Which It Stands..." displays more than 70 artworks that examine depictions of the American Flag from World War I to the present day. With artwork by artists such as Jasper Johns, Faith Ringgold, Robert Rauschenberg, Shepard Fairey, Julie Mehretu, and Maria de Los Angeles, this exhibition showcases celebrations of, and responses to, the flag over the decades.
“For Which It Stands…” is free and open to the public in the Walsh and Bellarmine Hall Galleries, through July 25.
