Fresh paint on JPK looking good! Team work of JAG Painting, volunteers, and our donors.

As we honored all those who lost their lives in service to our Country this Memorial Day, we took a quick photo of our Aft Superstructure showing the fresh after and starboard side bulkheads prepped, primed, and painted Haze Gray.

JPK volunteers participated in the Memorial Day ceremony and 21-gun salute on USS Massachusetts today with photos to come on the main Battleship Cove Page.

Thank you to all who participated in our Memorial Day Remembrance. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the ceremony was well attended and reminded us all why it is so very important to pay tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of our country.

About 20 employees of Bristol County Savings Bank visited yesterday as participants in their 5th Annual “BCSB CARES: Employee Volunteer Day.” There’s always plenty to do here, so we are very grateful for their help in sprucing up our September 11th Memorial and other locations on the grounds with w**d removal and fresh mulch. Elsewhere, a large quantity of archival records from our PT Boat office on the battleship’s second deck were relocated to their new home at the Maritime Museum. Thank you BCSB Cares!
