This week, looks a little different. You can blame Max for that. 😡 In lieu of what we normally share, Max takes us into the “Photo Vault” to see some photos from the Fargo Air Museum’s collection. These photos came from Everett Brust, a longtime photographer with the NDANG. A few of these photos are from the filming of the 1957 film JET PILOT, starring John Wayne. Did you know that Jet Pilot was filmed in Fargo? (Or at least the scenes that were set in the “Soviet Union” were, go figure!)

We hope you enjoy this different spin on Items from the Archives, and be sure to tune in next week when Dustin takes you deeper into how items are inventoried when they are donated to the museum!

Sign up for Youth Aviation camp Saturday, June 13th and 20th! 🛩

In this two-part, three-hour camp, kids ages 6-18 learn about orienteering and all the different aspects of pilotage and dead reckoning. Knowing how to use a map is a great skill whether on the ground or in the air!
