Farmersville Historical Society hosts walking tour.....
How much do you know about the town or village in which you live? Historically speaking, you might be surprised at what there is to learn. The Society is offering tours on Saturday, October 6, for you to learn more about the community in which you call HOME. Walking tours will begin at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. starting at the Log House on California St. Streets include Jackson, Walnut, some of Broadway and most of the business district on Center. There will be stop off points along the way for a bit of rest and the tour will end at the Log House. Since a large loop of the town will be covered make sure you wear a good pair of walking shoes. Come and be surprised at what your town has to offer. Our Log House will be open all day on Saturday and on Sunday afternoon 1 to 4 p.m. Our display will feature a lot of the "old town" showing the changes over the years. It is called progress. Join us, you will be glad you did!
