We maintain a 2600 square foot space in downtown Farmington containing hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from Farmington's past along with in excess of 1000 pictures of our history. We are open to the public for personal visits as well as special visits by past graduating high school classes, as well as class tours from the current elementary school in town.

More pictures of the Chapman School being torn down from many years ago. There is more of the school being prepared for demolition today. The area is being fenced off to prepare.

I guess while we are posting gas station photos , here is a real cute one. I don't know if they all pump gas but they seem happy being there. Someone will have to refresh me of where it was , I think across from the junior high?

Mystery solved. This is the photo that was colorized and posted a few days ago. The colorization software created some errors. So all commenters were correct! It both was, and wasn’t, our Farmington.

I posted this one not long back from the picture board at the museum with text over the supposed sites. It has been brought up that it may not be Farmington after all. Look it over and give me your thoughts. I removed the text so it won't confuse you. I see areas I think are our town and a few others that don't quite seem right. This was mid to late 40's we think it was taken. Dave might loose 25 cents if it is not. LOL.
