You may drive or enjoy free shuttle bus rides between 8 Fayetteville art galleries. Extra parking is available at Mount Sequoyah, The Art Gallery at NWA Mall, and the Community Creative Center.

THANK YOU, KUAF for airing this segment on our Non Profit Gallery’s origins! As well as this Saturday’s Gallery Hop!

The Art Gallery at the NWA Mall grew from an empty storefront into a hub for local artists. It joins seven other galleries for the Fayetteville Gallery Hop on Saturday, Oct. 17.

After one of our free Community art classes, we usually take a group photo of the students’ creations.

Which we basically did here, since THIS class taught how to properly wire your canvases or picture frames for hanging. 🖼️😊

The benefits of learning this skill include:

a) Keeping art galleries, art competition sponsors, and customers satisfied with how your art is wired for hanging; AND

b) It can enable you to frame your own artwork if you use ready made or floater frames. A money saving skill!

We’ll probably offer this class again this Spring. Taught by gallery artist Melissa Milton.

ANOTHER FREE ART CLASS FOR OUR COMMUNITY! So you’ve painted the picture or printed your photograph. How do you professionally wire your canvas or your framed art for hanging?

Why does it matter? Art galleries and art competitions always require properly wired art that will work with their hanging systems. Knowing how to do this yourself is useful, money saving knowledge for any artist. 🖼️

When: Sunday, Oct 4, 2:00pm - 3:30pm.

What: Reserve your spot to bring your medium or small sized creation to this free class. Receive hands on, instructed experience on wiring it properly for hanging. You’ll leave with your wired work of art, and new knowledge of how to wire your artistic creations moving forward.

Our gallery supplies the materials for our Non Profit Organization’s classes. Our Volunteer Instructor is Gallery Artist Melissa Milton.
