Greetings, The spring 2026 issue of the US Lighthouse Society Keeper’s Log arrived in yesterday’s mail. The "Notice to Keepers: Great Lakes District" had a feature on Eagle Bluff Light Station. How exciting! It also had an item on a sister lighthouse at McGulpin Point and the third and one half order Fresnel lens on loan from the Coast Guard they will be displaying....

From the Keeper’s Desk – May 21, 2026

Greetings! It was another milestone day at Eagle Bluff Light Station. Literally ground breaking in a sense that the new well was being drilled! The Door County Historical Society is funding the cost of the well drilling and pump installation. There were DNR public water supply specialists here to observe the drilling. They said the well will be cased to 100 feet and a total of 300 feet deep....

Be the First to Visit Eagle Bluff Light Station This Season

We’re excited to welcome visitors back to Eagle Bluff Light Station beginning Friday, May 22, with expanded experiences, restored buildings, and more opportunities than ever to step back in time and explore Door County’s maritime history. The site will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. throughout the season. This year marks an exciting new chapter for Eagle Bluff as guests experience the results of the extensive restoration and reconstruction work completed over the past three years....
