Join Gallery Marquee, representatives from the City of Fitchburg, and the artists behind the Unity in the Community public art project as we celebrate the official opening of the exhibit.
We will meet at a location to be determined (on Main St., and then walk the approx. half mile loop up and down Main St. to view the project artwork (weather permitting).
What is Unity in the Community?
It’s a new community-based public art exhibit where we asked local artists to create images that inspire hope, togetherness, and love. We look to embrace our differences, defy the hatred spreading throughout our country and the world, and come together as one. 12 artworks were selected from 9 artists and printed large scale on perforated window vinyl and put on display at participating buildings up and down main street for a period of 6 months.
