On Easter Sunday, 2026 the WHHM partnered with St. Paul's Episcopal Church to host a community 19th century Eucharist in our formal parlor. The service included period hymns, readings from the King James common prayer book, a lovely sermon, and communion served using pieces of Florence Whaley Orrell's donated Tiffany Silver communion set.
The Whaley family were parishioners amd donors of St. Pauls, with RJ Whaley being a vestryman throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Many thanks to Father Tom, the St. Pauls vestry & alter guild, and everyone who came together to make this year's Easter something truly special.

So we just got a knock on our door...a large bunny sporting a waistcoat and fancy hat, calling himself Peter Cottontail, just dropped off a basket of eggs in our front parlor! Be sure and stop by for open tours tomorrow to see if you or our younger guests can find them!
After tours be sure and stick around or tune into our Monthly Salon series, hosted by our headliner Mister Tim !
Don't forget Sunday we are hosting a special Easter Service in our formal parlor with St. Paul's Episcopal Church , as a special treat a part of Florence Whaley Orrell's communion set will be utilized during this service. All are welcome to attend.
Have a lovely Easter, or Passover, to all who celebrate.
