For those of you who have followed my work for a while now, know of my passion for old buildings and the architecture associated with these old homes.

Due to the beautiful architecture and the way that this particular doorway was representative of many of the doorways in this time period, I decided to focus on the entranceway of this beautiful Charleston home instead of the entire building. This drawing is named "Peaceful Passage" and giclée prints are available in our gallery at 1304 Celebration Blvd Florence, SC.

Just a little back story on this drawing... when my grandfather passed away several years ago, my aunt handed me an old metal box while cleaning out my grandfather's basement. In the box was a small old picture of this biplane (approx 2" x 3"). Because I always loved airplanes and Because the old photo was important enough to my grandfather to keep for all those years, I decided to draw it.

People always ask me whats my favorite of all the drawings that I've done. It's this 1928 Great Lakes biplane!

For those of you in North Eastern Ohio, you may remember this building. I drew this building when I was 17 as a gift for my mom. My mom has since passed away and i now have the original artwork back in my possession. I thought that I would share this. Thanks!
