Our Mission: The Underground Railroad Museum exists to preserve and share American history and its connection to the Ohio Valley. We believe that through sharing each other’s heritage we can foster an abundantly rich life-experience promoting generosity as we do life together. Our Vision: The Underground Railroad Museum aspires to encourage Americans to think about their lives in a different way

through the sharing of each other’s cultures. Through this process, those who embrace our mission and vision will become more acutely aware of the commonalities shared with those among us.

Please support our friends Barkcamp State Park with their annual ❤️

Registration is now open, Saturday October 31st Halloween 🎃 themed❣️

They have a 5K, 10K and half marathon on the road 🏃‍♂️

As well as a half marathon, full marathon and ultramarathon on the trails 👣 😀

The Barkcamp Race is actively seeking sponsorships and volunteers 🙋‍♀️

The Barkcamp Race is on Saturday October 31, 2026. It includes the following events: BARKCAMP 40 MILE TRAIL ULTRA, BARKCAMP TRAIL MARATHON, BARKCAMP TRAIL HALF MARATHON, BARKCAMP ROAD 5K, BARKCAMP ROAD 10K, and BARKCAMP ROAD HALF MARATHON.

The Underground Railroad Museum - Ohio Valley is officially temporarily closed so that we can begin moving the museum's collections to the Black Horse Inn in Morristown, Ohio💯💥
