Throwback Thursday!

50 years ago this week, here and around the Grove, Hattie Gebhardt celebrated her 90th birthday by playing the organ at the Dilley Church; Ken Gratteri presented instructions of how to set up a Camping tent won by Paul Adamson; Mrs. Myron Ray was installed as president of Pacific Progress; Drama students at Neil Armstrong preformed “Godspell;” Red Shepard was installed as president of the Cornelius Booster Club at their annual meeting; Candidates for the Banks Sunset mother and Princess met at the 26th Annual selection banquet; and Betty Dancer’s 51 kindergarteners preformed for adoring parents in Cornelius. All of this and so much more happened way back then. Do you recall any of these folks, and recognize the locations shown? Let us know! Enjoy!

On the corner of Pacific and Elm Street, I am sure you have passed by Miracle Sign about a million times, eh? Look at what business used to be there a long time ago.

Guyton's Dairy was there and they sold milk products and ice too!

The outbuildings are still there, just used by the sign shop now.

Not a dairy farm, but a dairy processing plant.

Check out the delivery truck!
