During the government shutdown, we are taking a pause on social media activity. Please join us again once the government reopens. The most recent government appropriations expired at 11:59p.m. EST on January 30, 2026. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be furloughed.

The museum enclave will be open tomorrow for regular hours.

The museum enclave will be open tomorrow for regular hours.

OPERATIONAL STATUS UPDATE: Installation Commander, Fort Lee will resume normal operations Friday, Jan. 30 and execute a NORMAL OPENING schedule, with some adjustments.

Please contact and work with your supervisor if you are affected by delays/closures at the local public and private schools.

Changes to start times include:
โ€ข Child and Youth Services facilities will open at 9 a.m. for priority personnel only.
o Please check your email for details.
โ€ข The Fitness Centers will be open from 9 a.m. โ€“ 5 p.m. (24/7 facilities will be operational).
โ€ข DFMWR: All other facilities will open at 9 a.m. or as normal, except the Cardinal Golf Course and snack bar, which will be closed.
โ€ข Kenner Army Health Clinic, TMCs and pharmacy will open at 10 a.m.
โ€ข The Commissary will operate as normal.
โ€ข AAFES Food/Retail locations will operate as normal, except the Express, which will open at 6 a.m.

Installation Commander, Fort Lee, will execute a closure on Wednesday, January 28, due to hazardous winter weather conditions.

The Senior Commander directs that ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ฅ ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ are to report for duty. The Museums at Fort Lee will be closed on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 for staff development and administrative work.

Moving forward, Army Museums will "stand down" on the first Tuesday of each month.
