Fort Madison Area Arts Association FMAAA serves over 100+ regional artisans at 825 Ave G. New classes offered monthly.

We are open from 5pm to 7pm on the first Friday each month for opening receptions and from 7pm to 9pm during FINALE free concerts at the end of the month. Also open some Sundays from 9am to 1pm to coincide with American Cruise riverboat visits to Fort Madison's.

Get in on the fun at the FMAAA Art Center!! If you are experienced with clay, join as a Member and use the studio as a Maker Space. If you just want to give the studio a try, we have LOTS of options: learn to handbuild or wheel throw in the studio.

Plus we have drop in ceramics glazing available most days Tue - Sat 11am - 4pm. Come in, pick a piece to glaze, pic your colors & paint it, then we fire. Most greenware pieces under $18

We have clay classes on Saturday, Sunday, and private wheel lessons on Monday. OR. We can schedule a class for you, a couple, or a group.

Today we were lucky to hear from some of our high school artists during Lunch à la Art! These talented students spoke about their artwork and answered questions from our guests.

It’s always inspiring to see the creativity and perspective of young artists in our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special shoutout to these students for sharing their vision and processes with us! You've worked hard, and it shows!
