Tonight I did something l.have not done in about a year. After the trolley barn was built in 1985 we started feeding Saturday lunch to all the volenteers and community service workers . First it was just hamburgers we grilled. After I arranged for the library building to be purched and remodeled we had a kitchen. I purchased all the food to avoid the appearance that anyone was benefiting personally from a 501c3 tax exempt organization. Real meals were repaired after that .
Every Saturday I prepared banana pudding. There were several out of town members who came for Saturday lunch. They always said they came to get Bradley's banana pudding. Many folks who ate the Saturday lunch said it was the best meal they got all week .
Tomorrow cornerstone Baptist is having a pot luck dinner after church and I am making it for them.
Unfortunately the folks who loaded the trolley museum board declared no food will be served out of a museum building.
