Yes, I assure you we are open……but only for limited hours today. I understand there are many people here in the area that do not have families that live here. I also understand there’s lots of you today that are going to be trying to escape your families lol. And then of course there’s the normal families who actually like each other who probably want to get out of the house and do something other than eat and watch tv. Whatever the reason may be, we will be here today at least from 8 AM to 5 PM. Maybe later than that if people are still hanging out. We’re just gonna play this one by ear today. Happy indigenous People Day. Snoochie boochies!

The Sound Cafe + Enlightened Studios is literally the most unique establishment in town. Not only are we the only late night coffeehouse serving locally roasted beans, open 7am to midnight every day of the week, but we are also a bar, an event venue, a recording studio, a video production house, and a local art gallery. In fact the entire vibe of the space and the daily events hosted here are created by our local artists. We are a family friendly alternative to the local scene, an all are welcome judgment free space, full of plenty of fun things to enjoy with family and friends. We have a library, a vinyl record listening area, an art and creativity center, dozens of board games, a Netflix and chill station and at least one event per day. Come on down and experience the true local experience here in tourist central southeast America located in the beautiful Downtown Fort Walton Beach.

Hey there, my beautiful Enlightened family! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our opening act tonight, for Scotty Austin, formally of Saving Abel, and his new band, could not make the show to open for him. If you or anybody you know, would like the opportunity to open for them, I would need you here no later than 430/5 PM for Soundcheck. You would be playing between 6 and 7 PM. Your compensation would be a live 4K music video shot and produced for one of your songs during this performance.
