My favorite time of the year. Happy New Year! My decorations are cleared and stored. My studio work table is cleared and Ishie is waiting on all possibilities for the new year. My wishes for all is for you to have 2,020 inspirations and an Ishie to support you!

A covy of quail landed on my studio table almost ready to put into kiln for bisque firing. I am getting ready for Fall shows, the first Sierra Art Trails, October 4-6. There are 80 artists showing throughout the mountain area.

Just finished the three step stool for an order. I forgot how much I enjoy working with wood. My client always has fun ideas for ways to keep my old brain going!

Time to think Christmas boutiques. I will be at the New Covenant Community Church in Fresno on Nees this Saturday from 9-3. Beautiful things to see!

Just finished this bookcase for a client who loves cats. The tiles show a Mommy kitty sitting on a porch reading to her kittens. I took a glazed tile to Home Depot and matched with paint. I found the metal base at antique tractor show and then built the bookcase to fit. I forgot how I enjoy wood working.

Just finished this sunflower tile tray in time for the Mother's Day clay and glass show on Saturday from 10-4. It is held on the grounds of Redeemer Lutheran Church on palm and bullard. Should be wonderful weather!
