Liberty Hall Historic Site is a four-acre educational center that was the home of the Browns, one of Kentucky's most important families. The site contains two houses: Liberty Hall (1796) built by John Brown, one of Kentucky's first United States Senators and the Orlando Brown House (1835), designed by Gideon Shryock, and owned by Senator Brown's second son. Libert

y Hall Historic Site grounds include extensive boxwood and perennial gardens, which lead down to the Kentucky River. There is no charge to visit the Liberty Hall gardens. They are open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Brenneman & Bucks Food Truck will be set up at 6:30 with food and drink available for purchase and the music will start at 7:00.

The City of Frankfort in partnership with Liberty Hall Historic Site and Downtown Frankfort Inc present Liberty Hall-er, an America250 Music Festival. This free event is open to the public and funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

FEATURING Cole Chaney, the Local Honeys, and Hancock and Shouse

Friday, July 3, 2-10 PM
Liberty Hall Historic Site, Ward Oates Amphitheatre, and Riverview Park

This is a FREE music festival, no tickets required. Family friendly event with live music, activities, and food and drink trucks (food and beverage for purchase). Restroom facilities, refillable water stations, and shade stops will be available throughout the event. The event is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking will be available throughout downtown and in the city's parking garages.

No coolers, backpacks or pets will be permitted at this event.

It’s Bourbon Week at Liberty Hall 🥃 We’re proud to partner with DFI and our friends around Frankfort to offer a special bourbon exhibit. Bourbon lovers might recognize the name at the top of that account book - George T. Stagg 🤯 His name appears several times in this account book, owned by none other than E.H. Taylor himself!! This artifact and more can be viewed for free during museum hours.
