We are thrilled to once again partner with Blue Star Museums, a national appreciation program to thank our military
families for their service and share with them America’s cultural treasures!
Admission to our museum is already free, but we participate in the Blue Star Museums program as a way to say “thank you” to military families.
Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in
collaboration with the Department of Defense and participating museums across America. During the summer
months, free admission is available to currently serving military personnel and their families, including National
Guard and Reserve.
The 2026 program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16, 2026 and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. Armed Forces Day was established in 1949 for citizens to come together and thank military members for their patriotic service.
