Fremont Art Association Our mission is to enhance the creation and enjoyment of art, in all its forms. THE GALLERY - Exhibits artwork of every kind by the members.

The Fremont Art Association offers local artists, collectors, students and art enthusiasts a venue that combines a showcase storefront gallery and a working studio. Our artists produce varied work, including traditional and modern paintings, fiber art and fashions, ceramics and jewelry. THE STUDIO - An eclectic mixture of groups and classes are on-going, filling the Studio with an atmosphere of ca

maraderie and friendly critique. All activities and membership are open to the public. THE SHOP - The diverse creations and broad-ranging work of members is on display and for sale. Whether you are looking for a gift, something for your home, or merely a card, you will find it in the FAA Shop. Proceeds from sales are shared between the artist and the FAA to pay for expenses.

Alameda County Arts Commission’s ARTSFUND Grant Program now accepting applications through February 5, 2026

The Alameda County Arts Commission’s 2026 ARTSFUND Grant Program supports Alameda County-based nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. The online application is now open. Information can be found at the Arts Commission’s website arts.acgov.org/artsfund. Standard grant awards are $2,500 each. The application deadline is Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 5:00pm.

Step inside the Fremont Art Association gallery in downtown Niles this weekend and take in the great diversity of locally made art on display. This is just a sliver of what's on hand. We are open both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., 37697 Niles Blvd, Fremont.

There’s pottery, paintings, jewelry, multimedia, fabrics, fiber art, treasure chests, and so much more. It’s fun to browse, and the volunteer-run organization is staffed by the artists, so you can meet them and learn about their chosen medium. Everything is a one-of-a-kind, made with love, and perfect for gift giving or treating one’s self during this season of good cheer.

Are you an artist? Are you feeling the need for support, encouragement, networking, inspiration? Please join your fellow artists at our new group kicking off next week, 1 pm to 3 pm Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Fremont Art Association in beautiful downtown Niles.

Stop by the Fremont Art Association this weekend; we are in beautiful down Niles, open from noon to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. We have so many gorgeous, utterly unique pieces of pottery here, each one marked with the loving personal touch of a local artist. If you’re looking for holiday gifts, the FAA is the place to visit for one-of-a-kind objects that will warm the heart of your recipient, as well as bring joy to the artist!

You’re invited to join us 1 pm Wednesday, Nov. 5 on Zoom (go to the link, here: https://www.fremontartassociation.org and also in our Instagram bio) to RSVP and get the Zoom link, for what promises to be a fascinating live art demo, “Blooming Clay,” by guest ceramic sculptor artist Vicki Gunter.

Gunter will offer a sneak preview of her expansive latest project (more about that, below) and also show how she creates flowers four times their natural size in clay, achieving painterly effects with ceramic underglazes on the flowers before firing them.

Gunter is an award-winning sculptor and her magnificent creative output showcases her love of clay’s infinite potential as a medium.

She has embarked on her boldest project yet, “Bloom,” a wall installation of 50 ceramic California native wildflowers slated for completion by 2030. Please join us this coming Wednesday, Nov. 5 at this interesting event hosted by the Fremont Art Association.

Bejewel yourself with glamour skulls, jack o’lanterns, glittery spiders and other glorious ghoulish necklaces, bracelets, earrings at the Fremont Art Association gallery in beautiful downtown Niles. Fresh quarter, fresh art at the Fremont Art Association in downtown Niles! Every quarter the gallery intakes new artwork from local artists and craftspeople. So many beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind works including jewelry, pottery, paintings, textile arts, carvings and more. Really needs to be seen to be appreciated.
We are open every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 5 pm at 37697 Niles Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536. Stop by, browse — very likely the person working at the store is one of the artists whose work is on display so you can chat about their process!
