This Monday, we celebrate the important role museums play in preserving history, sharing stories, and connecting generations.

At the Armenian Museum of Fresno, we are honored to preserve and share the rich history, culture, and contributions of the Armenian people in the Central Valley and beyond. For 25 years, our museum has served as a place of learning, remembrance, and pride for our community.

We invite you to visit, explore our exhibits, and help us continue celebrating the heritage and stories that shape who we are. Thank you to all who have supported the museum over the years and helped keep our history alive for future generations.

✨ 𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬? ✨ William Saroyan once turned down a Pulitzer Prize.

In 1940, he was awarded the Pulitzer for his play The Time of Your Life, but he declined it, saying that art should not be judged or rewarded by competition. It was a bold move that reflected his fiercely independent spirit and belief in the integrity of storytelling.

🎭 Want to experience Saroyan’s work for yourself?

Join us for afternoon performances of short stories by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and celebrated Fresno son, William Saroyan. Enjoy an intimate, theater-style production in Haig Berberian Hall at Saint Paul Armenian Church, featuring The Man with the Heart in the Highlands and Hello Out There.

Tickets are free but limited. Reserve yours here: https://tinyurl.com/5yw32kks

This performance has been made possible, in part, by funding from the City of Fresno Measure P, Expanded Access to Arts and Culture, and the Armenian Museum of Fresno.
