Thumb Octagon Barn Agricultural Museum

Thumb Octagon Barn Agricultural Museum Monday is Boys Day Out. Volunteers spend the day building, fixing, visiting, and enjoying the day.

A historical Octagon Barn is the foundation for this developing agricultural/rural life museum from the 1920's. Volunteers works daily to develop the site in an ongoing effort to offer the viewing public the best view of life in a different time. Daily tours are available for public viewing along with a major festival held the weekend after Labor day.

A few more photos from School Tours 2026. We would like to thank the Michigan Corn Growers Association for sending Scott Piggott and Olivia Hall from their Lansing office to tell the story of "Corn Products". The students also enjoyed playing the "Corn Hole" game. Thank you to ALL of our volunteers who made this a very successful event through the cold and rain and sun and fun!
