Our school group field trip season wrapped up last Friday with an amazing visit from 115 fifth grade students and teachers from Platteville! 👏

We are so grateful to receive feedback like this from one of the teachers:

Thank you to everyone who attended the Springtime in the Orchard Brunch on Saturday! Between the wonderful food by Coddich & Dauge, live music by Jim Mantey, the pie auction, a special appearance by General and Mrs. Grant from the Galena Shakespeare Festival, and tours of the apple blossoms at Orchard Landing & Galena Cider Co., it was an unforgettable event. 👏

The first pieces of limestone siding are officially up — and WOW, it’s looking amazing! Roof work is charging ahead, and guess what… we’re officially HALFWAY there!! 🔨🙌

Check out the progress on the new museum! 🤩
The framing is nearly complete, and soon we’ll begin adding the beautiful limestone siding. Our goal is to have the building fully enclosed before winter so we can continue work on the interior projects throughout the colder months.

Opening Summer 2026- stay tuned for more updates along the way! 👏

🏗️ New Museum Update!
The beams and gluelams are up, the roof is in progress, and limestone veneer is next! We’re on track to enclose the building before winter. 👏

🎉 We’re making HUGE progress — and now we need your help to keep the momentum going. Help us finish strong by supporting our federal IMLS grant match for exhibit cases, storage, and artifact transport!!
