The Galt Area Historical Society is still looking for members, and Gilly's Car Wash wants to promote its business. We decided to support each other with a proposition. Sign up to be a member of the GAHS and receive a gift card for Gilly's Car Wash. The card is valued at $22. Single memberships are $30, family memberships are $50, and business memberships are $75. Memberships can be purchased at Barsetti Vineyards Tasting Room, 400 4th Street in Galt. Hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Noon to 5pm. This offer of a Gilly's Gift Certificate is only for new members; not for renewals of current members.

The Galt Area Historical Society's annual car show, "A Drive Down Memory Lane," will be held at the McFarland Living History Ranch July 11 from 9a-2 pm. This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year. If you want to enter your car, please go to www.galthistory.com to register and pay. There will be vendors selling their crafts, food trucks, and tours of the historic McFarland House.
