Art collecting is evolving. Today, the value of owning an artifact is as much about its story as its beauty or investment potential. Historical pieces like Peter Malkin’s “Eichmann in My Hands” collection carry more than artistic merit: they hold deep connections to pivotal world events, memory, and our collective values.

These artifacts invite us to be part of something bigger, bringing history and emotion into our personal spaces. They remind us that collecting is not just about what you see, but what you feel: and what you honor.

At Katharina Perry Gallery, we’re proud to offer rare opportunities to own works with real legacy and meaning. Discover the future of meaningful collecting with us.

WE WELCOME NEW ARTIST ANU SHARMA TO OUR GALLERY

ANU SHARMA

Artist Biography
Location: New York, NY
Specialization: Mandala Art | Tanjore Painting | Abstract Art | Resin Art
Education: Diploma & Degree in Fine Arts (1999)

About the Artist:
Art has always been my sanctuary, my language, and my soul’s truest expression. My
journey as an artist began with a diploma and a degree in Fine Arts, which I completed in
1999. However, life took a different course as I embraced marriage and the
responsibilities that came with being part of a traditional Indian household. Soon after,
motherhood became my world, and for years, I put my passion for art aside to focus on
my family.
As my family responsibilities became lighter, I sought purpose beyond
my household duties. During this time, I felt a deep sense of emptiness and self-doubt.
My psychologist sister encouraged me to reconnect with my passion—Art. That
advice changed my life. I picked up my brushes again, rediscovered my love for colors,
and found my creativity returning to life.
Artistic Journey & Achievements:
- Art Instructor at Studio Antara.
- Co-author of the book Colour Me Happy- Exploring the emotions behind colors.
- Organized summer camps, exhibitions, and workshops in India.
- Trained over 500+ students.
- Recognized at an official government level- for artistic contributions.
Current Work & Vision:
I am on a new journey, expanding my artistic footprint internationally. Now, in New York, I am eager to share my work with a global audience, connect with fellow
artists, and inspire others through my creative journey. My goal is not just to paint but to
bring stories to life, to evoke emotions, and to leave an imprint on the hearts of those who
experience my art.
I invite you to join me on this creative journey as I continue to push boundaries
and explore new possibilities. Let’s create a world of beauty, love, and inspiration
together.
