Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum Open By Appt. CALL! World's largest private collection of Gene Autry and Singing Cowboys memorabilia! Admission is By Donation. Visitors say "Wow!"

Originally founded to showcase Vintage Memorabilia of Gene Autry, the original "Singing Cowboy" our displays have expanded to include Vintage and modern memorabilia for many of the famous (and not quite famous) Singing Cowboys from the 1930s, 40s, 50s & 60s. Tom Mix, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Smiley Burnette, Pat Burtramm, John Wayne, Dale Berry, Rex Allen, Tex Ritter, the list goes on and on! Movie

Posters, photographs, knick knacks and useful branded items fill the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum displays. And of course you may purchase recordings in our Museum Store. We are a 501 c(3) dedicated to promoting the Cowboy Code made famous by no other than Gene Autry. Tthe Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum preserves and perpetuates the Cowboy lifestyle and Culture. Educational, informative and entertaining events and displays housed in a former WPA Schoolhouse of over 10,000 square feet plus an Auditorium that seats up to 500.

Please bear with us as we continue with upgrades and repairs. We have installed new lighting, new A/C units and are currently repairing plumbing damaged by the big freeze in February. We just wanted to keep everyone informed

Attention Everyone!
With the Covid-19 virus issue in the United States, the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum will close until Saturday, April 4th. At that time we will assess the situation and determine if it is safe to reopen. We want to do our part in keeping everyone safe. Thank you all for your support! Hopefully we will be able to reopen then and carry on with our Chili Cook-off May 2nd.

Join us for The Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum of Local History's fund raising Shindig! We will have a "Chili Cook-Off" with all the fixings! Come see the museum and enjoy some food, fellowship and fun! Minimum $5.00 donation per person for the "Chili Cups". Judging to take place at noon! Plaques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Tour the museum and enjoy other activities for free! Join us and learn something about the "Cowboy Way of Life", enjoy past memories while creating new ones, and discover a bit about what was once the Town of Berwyn Oklahoma, now the Town of Gene Autry. 580-294-3276 for more information and to register as a contestant.
