I’m not sure why I decided on this subject? Idk…maybe it’s the blue jeans and the stiff pose of the young country girl and her uncaring expression.

It’s like. Whatever—a lot of fun practicing painting.

Here I took a photo that was taken in Puerto Rico (shown on the right). I experimented with loose brush strokes in the sky and kept the figures impressionistic. What do you think?
