This Saturday, December 6 from 11 am to 4 pm, Lord Nelson's Gallery and our partner business Gettysburg Custom Framing will host local artists Bobbi Becker (12-4), Christina Bias, Larry Selman and best-selling author Jeff Shaara, as part of Gettysburg's Christmas Festival weekend. Some will be painting in person and Jeff will gladly autograph his books for you! You'll also have the chance to visit with the Civil War period Santa Claus on Friday afternoon and Saturday. We hope you're not on his naughty list!😮
There's lots going on at the Festival including a Snow Globe Village, Gingerbread House competition, Ice Sculptures, Live entertainment, Festival Tavern on the square, Human Foosball, Face Painting, Carriage Rides and much more. We're delighted to announce the gallery is now representing PA wildlife artist Christina Bias, who works in multiple mediums, including ink, graphite, and acrylics. Currently at the gallery is a wide range of her original works, from intricate feather portraits and black-and-white ink studies to wildlife (sometimes whimsical) paintings. Christina will be at the gallery in person on Saturday, December 6 as part of Gettysburg's "A Christmas Festival" weekend. At the gallery this coming weekend will be NY Times best-selling author JEFF SHAARA and military historical artist LARRY SELMAN. Larry will be here in person Friday and Saturday July 4 & 5 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, both days. He is represented by Custom Framing who we share the gallery space with. Larry has depicted every era of American military history and every branch of service. Larry will be painting in the gallery and this will be a great opportunity to meet and greet him.
Saturday July 5th, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, JEFF SHAARA will be autographing copies of all his books, including his current title, The Shadow of War: A Novel of the Cuban Missile Crisis. This event is free and open to the public. Hope you can make it!
