This public “not for profit” organization's purpose is to support historical educational events, programs and exhibits that align with the mission statements of the PA Museum of Military Vehicles, (DBA) The World War II American Experience Museum. The Friends of the World War II American Experience Museum (Fr-WWIIAE) goals are to sponsor fundraising and other similar revenue gen
erating events specifically to advance public education, the preservation of historical artifacts and to honor those who have served our country by preserving their memories. Wheels and Tracks (W&T) is a division Fr-WWIIAE whose goals are the preservation and operation of historic vehicles and to support both the museum and the Friends of the World War II American Experience Museums activities and purpose. The Fr-WWIIAE / W&T is made up of like-minded individuals who have a passion for vintage automobiles, American history, and the willingness to share their knowledge, skills as part of keeping historical vehicles and artifacts relevant to generations to come. The Fr-WWIIAE / W&T in part includes members from the Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA) the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) as well as other reenactor based organizations that are dedicated to preserving history. Being a part of an outside club as listed above is not a requirement for membership in the Fr-WWIIAE / W&T however it is strongly encouraged as to foster a good relationship / partnership with kindred organizations with similar goals.
