🎓 Scholarship Deadline Approaching! 🎓

There are only 9 days left to apply for a Texas Wendish Heritage Society Scholarship!

All scholarship applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2026. Don't wait until the last minute! Give yourself plenty of time to gather the required documents and complete your application and essay before the deadline.

Just a friendly reminder that the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum will be closed this Father's Day weekend, June 20–21. We will reopen with our regular hours on Tuesday, June 23.

Thank you for allowing our volunteers time to celebrate and spend the weekend with their families. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again soon!

The Texas Wendish Heritage Museum will be closed for Father's Day weekend, June 20–21, and will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, June 23.

Missed our last two coffee cake classes? No worries! We have ONE more class before we take a summer break.

Join us on Sunday, June 14, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for an afternoon of learning, tradition and taste testing. Bring your kids, grandkids, friends or come on your own and discover how to make traditional Wendish coffee cake.
