One of my absolute favorite things… seeing where my paintings land in the world. ✨

Heat Rising From The Street from my Ticket Around the World series found its home with a wonderful collector at the San Francisco Art Fair a few weekends ago—and she just sent me this beautiful photo of it in her dining room.

I always say these pieces carry my memories… but once they leave my studio, they become part of someone else’s story. And I LOVE seeing that story begin.

This one couldn’t have landed in a more perfect space. 💛

Thank you so much for giving my work a home—it truly means everything.

Becoming an artist isn’t just about learning techniques or finding your style… it’s about learning to trust yourself.

And honestly, that might be the hardest part.

Figuring out what you actually like. Following that path wherever it leads—even when it doesn’t look like anyone else’s work. Even when it’s not traditionally “beautiful.”

Letting go of the idea that it has to be perfect… and allowing it to be personal instead.

Because when something truly speaks to you—there’s a quiet hope it might reach someone else’s soul too.

That’s the kind of art I want to make. 🤍

So grateful this weekend 💫

Two of my paintings from Ticket Around the World found homes with new collectors at the San Francisco Art Fair—and I couldn’t be happier. There’s something so special about knowing these layered pieces, filled with memory and history, will now become part of someone else’s story.

Not exactly how I planned this piece to evolve…

A car ran through and this painting took a hit.
Right now it feels like it has a bandaid on it. Front and Back.

I’m trying to bring it back — not perfectly, but honestly.

Sometimes the history shows… and sometimes that’s where it gets interesting.

Let’s see where this goes.
