Get ready to EXPLORE, and DISCOVER with Mad Science: Birds and Beasts at the Atkins-Johnson Farm & Museum!
Join us on July 16th from 9 AM – 12 PM as young naturalists answer the questions: Where do owls live and what do they eat? How do some bugs walk on water? These questions and more will be answered with a walk on the wild side of things to explore owls, birds and all kinds of bugs.

Only three more weeks to see the temporary exhibit Sports and Recreation: Fun on the Farmstead. The exhibit closes June 27, so make sure to see it before it's gone!

The Museum will then be closed for a week before opening July 8 with the next exhibit, Lace, Laugh, Love: Wedding History in Missouri.

The Big Shoal Vintage Auto Show is happening this Saturday, June 13th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM!

Join us at the beautiful Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum located at 4109 NE Pleasant Valley Rd, Gladstone, MO.

Come out to marvel at gorgeous classic cars, enjoy the historic farm grounds, and share your passion for vintage rides with fellow auto enthusiasts. This fantastic community event is hosted by the Friends of the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum and the Mid America AACA.

🎄🏡 The Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum kicked off the Holiday Season with our annual Holiday Nights and Photos and Cookies with Santa & Mrs. Claus.

✨ Over 450 families and friends joined us across the two events to celebrate. Guests sipped warm cider 🍎☕ and enjoyed delicious cookies 🍪 as they gathered around the fire pit 🔥 to roast chestnuts.

🌟 Visitors wandered the glowing luminary trail while the Dickenson Carolers filled the night with holiday cheer 🎶.

🎅 Inside, families wrote heartfelt letters , snapped photos with Santa, and explored our festive Holiday Toys Exhibit 🧸✨.

A magical kickoff to the holiday season!

Thank you to all who attended the events and a special thank you to our friends and volunteers of the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum.

Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum

Holiday Nights Saturday December 6th 7pm-9pm

Join us one last time before the Museum closes for the winter. Explore the Holiday Toys Exhibit, grab some cider, join friends around the fire pit as we roast chestnuts, take a stroll down the luminary trail and get your letters into Santa.

Craft and letter writing station available, join in on the holiday cheer from the Dickenson Carolers and catch a peek of Santa himself.

General parking for this event will be at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home where you will take a short shuttle bus ride over the property. Limited designated parking available for those needing handicap accessibility.
