Pride Winkenwerder is a formally trained contemporary artist, with a lifelong pursuit of excellence in creative artistic expression. Pride earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from The University of Georgia, followed by a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. She is an alumna of the prestigious Cortona Art Program in Italy. Today Her ar
twork is included in a number private and commercial fine art collections, throughout the eastern United States and in Stockholm, Sweden. Her paintings have been selected for exhibition in national juried art shows, non-juried and regional shows in Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, The artist's work has been selected for a book cover design, and is currently licensed for the John Wells film "The Company Men" (starring Ben Affleck and Tommy Lee Jones.) As an artist Pride Winkenwerder also enjoys participating in speaking engagements on art related topics. She has spoken in a variety of settings, sometimes including onsite painting demonstrations. By appointment she provides clients with individual consulting services for art topics (such as review of collections, strategies for prospective acquisitions, fundamentals for art research, and the value of historic fact finding. ) She serves her clients further by referring them to specific art professionals for expertise in areas such as archival care or lighting for fine art.
