Sleek, bold… and just a little extra

Satin changes everything
More structure, more presence, a completely different kind of statement

Same pattern… new energy

What started as a layered lace experiment somehow turned into one of our favorite Liora variations yet 😄

Extending the standard band into a longline not only adds extra drama and flair, but also increases support by spreading everything over a larger area instead of asking a narrow band to do all the heavy lifting on its own.

Basically… “run down the stairs approved” support.

We’ve officially shared the longline hack tutorial on the blog, including how we transformed the standard Liora band into this version, plus a few lessons learned along the way (including why lace placement deserves respect).

Did you love our Liora longline hack as much as we do?

Extending the band into a longline not only adds extra drama and flair… it also creates a more supportive feel by distributing tension over a larger area.

Kind of like the difference between carrying groceries in a flimsy plastic bag versus a sturdy tote 😄

We’ve officially shared the tutorial on the blog, along with details on how we created this version.

And yes… this exact kit is also available on the website

This bra pattern didn’t start out looking anything like this…

The layered lace idea came first.
But the original matching knicker experiment without a sketch introduced some… unfortunate lace placement. 😅

So we made a plan, gave it another go, and spent a little more time staring at lace before cutting into the good stuff. Thankfully, the redo turned into the coordinated set we were hoping for.

And honestly? The layered pink underneath the black lace might be our favorite part

This one started as a “what if…”

What if we extended the line
What if we layered the lace
What if we pushed it just a little further

And somewhere between “this might work” and “let’s just try it” this happened

It’s still the Liora at its core
Same foundation, same structure

Just… with a bit more going on

We’ll show how this came together next
(it’s less complicated than it looks… promise)

Sometimes the hardest part of pattern design isn’t drafting the first version… It’s deciding whether there’s a better way to do it

This project has involved a LOT of testing, refining, rethinking, and conversations with incredibly smart people in the sewing industry.

Because once you start accounting for different bust proportions…everything becomes connected.

And honestly? That’s part of what makes this work so interesting.

Our Kickstarter is officially live with cup-sized clothing patterns in sizes 0–34 and cup options from B/C through J/K.

Less adjusting.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the line drawings… so here’s a little peek behind the curtain 🙂

These patterns were designed with the same fit-first philosophy we use in lingerie… just applied to everyday clothing.

That means:
✨ multiple cup options
✨ sizes 0–34
✨ less front-of-garment redrafting
✨ and hopefully… fewer giant honkin darts

The goal was never “perfect fit with zero adjustments.”

The goal was starting from a base that already accounts for curves… instead of pretending they don’t exist.

And honestly?
That changes a lot.

This one almost reads as “just pretty lace” at first glance…
Soft colors, light textures… very “gentle energy”

But behind the scenes?

There’s structure doing its job quietly
Holding shape, supporting, keeping everything where it needs to be. Because sometimes support doesn’t need to announce itself

It just… shows up and does the work (Kind of like that one friend who always brings snacks and never asks for credit)

If your sewing process includes
“cut pattern → adjust → adjust again → question your life choices”…

You’re in good company 🙂

Most patterns scale outward.

Bodies don’t.
Especially through the bust and shoulders.

So we started with cup options built in from the beginning.

Less pattern wrestling…more sewing.
