National Travel & Tourism Week is May 3–9, and we’re proud to celebrate the places that tell America’s story. This week recognizes how travel strengthens communities, supports jobs, and connects people across the nation.

Right here in Goessel, Kansas, Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum welcomes visitors to explore eight historic buildings, immigrant stories, prairie heritage, and the agricultural traditions that helped shape Kansas into the Breadbasket of the World.

Tourism isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about preserving history, supporting local communities, and creating memories for future generations. Every visitor who walks through our doors helps keep these stories alive.

What a wonderful time we had at our community egg hunt! Families gathered, kids searched high and low, and smiles were everywhere.

A big congratulations to our Golden Egg winners — Alayah, Carter, and Daniel!

Each winner received a special prize: a Kansas-themed children’s book and a stuffed bison, celebrating our state’s heritage and the upcoming **America 250** commemoration.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a joyful success. We love seeing our community come together!
