📚🦖 DinoSOAR Into Stories with Jefferson County Public Library this summer!

We're thrilled to partner with Jefferson County Public Library for their 2026 Summer Reading Program, DinoSOAR Into Stories! From June 1–July 31, readers of all ages can log their reading, earn prizes, and discover exciting events all summer long.

As part of this year's program, the Mines Museum is providing free labeled rock specimens as registration prizes for kids, teens, and adults participating in Summer Reading. It's a fun way to spark curiosity about geology, minerals, and the incredible Earth beneath our feet!

Rowan is a senior from Denver, Colorado, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Rowan's favorite minerals are Rhodochrosite, that state mineral of Colorado, and Amethyst, famous for its beautiful purple crystals.
