The Gonzales Memorial Museum is one of the nine memorial museums built to celebrate the 1936-1937 Centennial of Texas Independence, and it is the only one in operation funded locally.

What a stunning moment at the Alamo! Thomas Anthony Crockett was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. After the ceremony, 2ndLt. Crockett proposed to his girlfriend... and she joyfully accepted!
