The Taylor County Arts Council (TCAC Inc.) presents an exciting array of cultural programs, educational activities, exhibits and musical entertainment at Gallery 62 West. One, two, three and the rest is history. In 1995, TCAC Inc. began fulfilling a public need for creative expression by developing the Premier 1996 (MCMXCVI) Memorial Day Juried Fine Arts Exhibit. Following 10 years of growth, dedication and perseverance, TCAC opened Gallery 62 West in 2005 in the historic landmark known as the “Brinkman Opera House.” The three floor Italianate style structure, c. 1900, formerly seated 800 people! Today, the gallery continues to be wholly supported by volunteers, donations, grants, fundraising and membership dues. Cheers to the exceptional organizations!! DONATIONS TO THE TAYLOR COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL

TCAC Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Benefits include reduced entry fees, discounted course costs, great community and health benefits!! Grants and donations help TCAC pay for Gallery 62 West’s costly maintenance of an historic landmark and keeps the gallery supplied with basic items, services and utilities.
