Honoring Service and Sacrifice

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

History is more than dates in a textbook — it is the stories of real people, real communities, and the generations who came before us. At the museum, we are honored to help students connect with the people and events that shaped our communities, our nation, and the freedoms we remember this Memorial Day.

Get ready for our upcoming exhibit: “Life on the Frontier During the American Revolution”—opening soon!

It’s a meaningful reminder of the individuals who lived—and fought—right here in our region during the Revolutionary era.
