I dropped by the DAC Gallery to leave some books in their community bookshelf and was treated to a wonderful new student art display, featuring art from Central, North DeSoto and Logansport schools. Please drop by the Gallery and see the works of these talented young artists of tomorrow.

Christmas Parade in Grand Cane, LA on Saturday,
December 3, from 10 am – 2 pm. Plan to stop by and
visit with the artist and take advantage of the wonderful
Christmas display.

Come learn how to make Ollivander’s finest just in time for the premier of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! Students make one wand each and customize with ‘jewels’, ‘gold’, and more in this one and a half hour class. All materials supplied.

The latest class from Little Brick Studio, starting in two weeks! This one is a great opportunity for homeschoolers. We also have seats available for an origami class next Saturday.

CLAY CASTLE TOWER
Ages 8 and up

2pm - 3:30pm
Friday
July 22nd - Aug. 12

Students will create and decorate a castle tower from kiln fired clay. Because of drying and kiln firing time it is expected to meet for at least 3 Fridays from 2 - 3:30pm with a possible fourth day to catch up if needed.
The cost of the class will be $65 which includes all materials.
Family discount available.
