Center Art Gallery at Calvin

Center Art Gallery at Calvin Founded in 1974
Located in Grand Rapids, MI on the campus of Calvin University. There is no admission fee.

The Center Art Gallery is located in the Covenant Fine Arts Center at Calvin University. It includes 3,800 square feet of exhibition space spread amongst three galleries. In addition to work by Calvin students, faculty and alumni, the gallery features exhibits by secular and religious artists of note, as well as work from the institution's permanent collection of art.

Come celebrate the graduating artists and their work. Eat and enjoy refreshments. All are invited!

Who: Open to the public!
When: 5:00-8:30pm*, open-house style

Join us for the final reception for the 2026 BFA & BA Senior Exhibition this Friday, May 8 from 5:00-8:30pm! Join the commencement celebrations and stop by the gallery!

Can't make it to the reception? The senior art will be up through May 9 to view at our regular hours (M-Th 10-8pm, F 10-5pm), and special hours from 9-1pm on Saturday May 9.

The graduating BFA & BAs are taking over the gallery this week, getting ready for their exhibition celebrating their time creating at Calvin! There's a few events to look out for, so make sure you've got these in your calendar:

APRIL 27 - Opening day of the exhibition
MAY 1 - Senior Exhibition Opening Reception (5:00pm-8:30pm)
MAY 8 - Senior Exhibition Closing Reception (5:00pm-8:30pm)
MAY 9 & 11 - Senior art pick-up (and art purchase pick-up)

Have a book to sign or a question to ask? Meet Scott Erickson in the Center Art Gallery, surrounded by his personal sketches, work, and writings. This event is organized by the Festival of Faith and Writing, but is open to the public to join!

Need a book? There will be book vendors selling in the CFAC lobby--right outside of the gallery doors!
